The Rhode Island Ave. Metro Station's parking lot was closed this morning indefinitely due to the start of construction of a new multi -level parking structure. Commuters with parking passes for this station are allowed to park at any other metro owned parking lot. The parking garage is part of a previously reported project which will add 274 apartments and 70,000 sq ft of retail space in addition to the parking structure.
